Chicago's Protectionist Self-Driving Ban

With Uber now testing four driverless cars on the streets of Pittsburgh, the two alderman want to make it clear that they don't support that sort of innovation in the Second City. The proposed ordinance would include fines of $500 for anyone using an autonomous vehicle.

"No technology is one-hundred percent safe," said Burke, who represents the city's 14th Ward, in a statement.
