Of the many things Donald Trump has planned for his presidency, Democrats support at least one—in principle, if not specifics. It's way past time to fix America's crumblinginfrastructure. Tuesday, Trump named the woman for the job, nominating Elaine Chao as Secretary of Transportation.
Chao has the right resume: She ran the Labor Department under President George W. Bush after serving as maritime administrator and then DOT deputy secretary in the George H. W. Bush's administration.
